Winter Solstice

Well it's rise up, Jock, and sing your song,
For the summer is short and the winter long.
Let's all join hands and form a chain
'Til the leaves of springtime bloom again.*

Tomorrow will be four seconds longer than today! 88 days, 13 hours, 21 minutes, and 17 seconds till spring! Bring in the holly and the ivy! Hang the mistletoe! Decorate the evergreen! Light the candles! Fire up the Yule log! Happy Winter solstice!

    I am not sure how to use my extra four seconds? Umm . ... now if mother earth would just would just get a tad more consistent with her climate and geologic hiccups and get in time with us humans - I mean why pay more attention to the sun that us? LOL perhaps the leap seconds point out that we as the human race are still falling behind.
